TRADITIONAL CHACHAPOYAS VIA CHICLAYO 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS

• Firstly at 8:30 pm Arrival to Chiclayo, then you can take your bus to transfer to Chachapoyas city overnight (Buses could be Movil Tours, or Cruz del Sur)

• Firstlye arrival to Chachapoyas, then reception and transfer to the selected hotel then Breakfast at the hotel at 7:30 am.

• Later depart from Chachapoyas at eight thirty a.m. to visit the archaeological monument of Kuelap and  dubsequently  enroute we will stop to view the ruins of Macro and explain the history and function in relationship with Kuelap.
• Then we will take the cable car to La Malca station then continuing on we will tour the fortified Citadel of Kuelap, the most importante city from Chachapoyas  Culture, which dates back to the sixth century AD.

• After that our tour will take approximately three hours, and after meeting back at the station to take the cable car to Tingo village and stop for lunch.
• Finally, in the afternoon we will continue our journey to the valley of Utcubamba and return to Chachapoyas city, overnight at the selected hotel.

• Firstly,we take breakfast at the hotel at 7:20 am.

• Then we will leave from Chachapoyas at 8:00 am towards Quiocta cave parking lot. So  hence we will start the hiking appreciating the landscapes and potatoes plantations. Later arrival to the cave where we will see stalagmites and stalactites walking about 550 meters deep in the cave, visit and return to the parking lot in order to go to town of Lamud, where we will have lunch.

Karajía’s Sarcophagi

• After that we will continue the tour towards Cruz Pata’s community from where we will walk until the amazing Karajía’s Sarcophagi, a unique Chachapoyas funeral pattern, then our guide will explain us about the sarcophagi and you can take pictures of the area, finally  we will return to Chachapoyas overnight at the selected hotel.

• Firstly We take breakfast at the hotel at 7:30 am
• Later, We depart from Chachapoyas at 8:30 am to the community of Cocachimba, where we will start our hike at ten in the morning, appreciating the two waterfalls, fields of sugar cane and other typical local products and We will descend into a habitat known as the Cloud Forest in this part of Peru.
• It is important to know that this place is the habitat of Peru’s national bird, the Andean Cock of the Rock, the yellow-tailed woolly monkey and a multitude of hummingbirds and other tropical birds.  The path ends at the base of the beautiful Gocta waterfall, and then returns to the community of Cocachimba to have lunch. Finally our vehicle awaits us to take us to the city of Chachapoyas to take a night bus to Chiclayo.
